 Sea of Galilee...

The Kinneret, or Sea of Galilee, is a freshwater lake that is part of the River Jordan's basin. It is located in northern Israel. The Kinneret has been called by many names throughout its history including the Lake of Gennesaret, the Sea of Tiberias, and the Sea of Galilee.   It is known for its beauty and natural wonders. The water of the Sea of Galilee is said to be fed by more than 360 springs and wells near the lake.

The Sea of Galilee is an historic place for many Christians. Pilgrims come to the Sea of Galilee year round to visit its shores and remember the life, teachings, and miracles of  Yeshua  (Jesus Christ).
A walk along the shore is a spiritual experience for those who are seeking peace with God.  Not only does the Sea of Galilee offers tourists amazing history, but it also provides people with clean drinking water.

Jesus lived on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. This area was very familiar to him. He walked on water there, and it is this area where he proclaimed his message of peace to a multitude. Jesus passed away in Jerusalem, but his life's work and ministry took place in this area. Some people even believe that Jesus' resurrection occurred near the Sea of Galilee. Even though there is not a lot of evidence, it is possible that this might be true because 80% of his ministry took place here. He spoke with fishermen about their livelihoods and even preached from a boat at one point.

An experience you will never forget
