tribes names (5).png

Asher was the eighth son of Jacob with Zilpah, a handmaiden of Leah.  His name means “happy”.

Genesis 30:12-13 - Leah's servant Zilpah bore Jacob a second son. Then Leah said: How happy I am! The women will call me happy.

When God brought Israel out of their captivity, they sang and danced and laughed!

Psalm 26:1 - “Our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with singing. We felt like we were in a dream.”

God turned their tears to joy, and the joy of the Lord is our strength

True happiness is not relief from suffering or a difficult situation, nor is it the achievement of a goal.

There is only one place to look for true happiness: from the God who created us!

The only happiness we can have outside of God is temporary.

Proverbs 16:20 tells us that: “whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he”.

The real happiness changes our health, as it is written.

Proverbs 17:22 - A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones

The bones are our essence, our substance, they hear God’s voice

Ezekiel 37:4-5 -Then he said to me, prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life”.

For people who have a happy heart, life is a continual feast.

Genesis 49:20 - Asher's food will be rich; he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

Everyone wants to surround themselves with happy people, Happiness is contagious.

Through happiness we can love, inspire, support and bless people!
