REUBEN
Reuben is the eldest son of Jacob and Leah. It means “see the son”.

Genesis 29:32 - Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, “It is because the LORD has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now”.

Surely, the Lord saw her affliction, she was the first one of the wives to acknowledge the Lord she was a spiritual person, so the Lord gave her a blessing, a son!

Unfortunately, Reuben slept with his father's concubine. He betrayed his father, committed adultery and incest. His father blessing was not good.

Jacob’s blessing :

Genesis 49:3-4 - Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the firstfruits of my strength, preeminent in dignity and preeminent in power. Unstable as water, you shall not have preeminence, because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it—he went up to my couch!

As a result, instead of receiving the priesthood as first-born, that blessing was given to Levi, the crown of kingship went to Judah, and the double inheritance portion, was given to Joseph.

All due his instability. The truth is that we also are unstable is some areas of our lives.

Everything is unstable, the politics, the health, the economy, except the word of God.

That is why Yeshua is the cornerstone, the Rock of Israel; all other precious stones will be set in reference to this stone.

Isaiah 28:16 - Therefore this says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation”.

Moses’ blessing to the tribe of Reuben is that their impetuous nature should not lead to their destruction; that they should continue to live and thrive even though they have chosen to live outside of the borders of the Promised Land.

Will the tribe of Reuben be redeemed? Yes, they were numbered at Revelation 7, so that means that they "saw the son!"

Even Job, confessed that his understanding of God was far more limited than he realized. he said:

Job 42:5 - “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes”.

Job also said: “I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth”.

When we see the son, we become stable in areas that once we were unstable.
